Areas of specialisation

Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU) is looking for highly motivated and passionate individuals for the positions of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer to join our dynamic academic team with the opportunity to lecture in China for two to three weeks per semester if the candidates are interested with the mobility programme.  We are looking for the following candidates who can specifically teach the following subject areas:
 

• Unreal Engine 5 and Unity for VR/AR/Game Development
• 3D Modelling for Games (3D Studio Max and Blender )
• 3D Animation (Autodesk Maya)
• 3D Textures and Sculpting (Substance Painter or Z-brush)
• Motion Graphics (Adobe After Effects)
• UI/UX (User Experience Design)
• Game Programming (familiar with C++ or engines like Godot, Unity or Unreal)
• Web Development (Backend Developers familiar with Node Js, PHP or SQL)

We are also generally looking for candidates in the area of Computer Science and Software Engineering (AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cyber Security, Software Testing, Robotic Process Automation)

General requirements

• Candidates should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree with at least Five (5) years working experience in the related field. For candidates interested in joining us as a lecturer/senior lecturer in web development, computer science or software engineering - a doctoral (PhD) or master’s degree is strongly encouraged.
• Pleasant and mature personality with a good command of the English Language.
• For candidates who are interested to work short term for lecturer exchange in China, a good command of Mandarin is an advantage.
• Candidates from the Industry who are willing to explore and make the move to tertiary education are encouraged and welcomed to apply.
