University Placement @ APU
Our university placement provides assistance to students who wish to transfer into the second year or final year degree programmes with collaborating universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Briefings and counselling seminars are held regularly by representatives from respective universities.
Meet our University Placement counsellor at Student Services or email to uplacement@apu.edu.my to obtain University application forms, guidance in selecting universities, and reference information such as eligibility, prospectuses, visa, cost of living and scholarships available. We will help you to forward completed applications to respective universities.
You must complete the application form for each university you wish to apply for (maximum two universities). Application forms can be obtained from the respective website of the University you intend to transfer to. Please submit the complete application forms to the Student Services together with copies of the relevant certificates. If you are waiting for your results, please list all the subjects with pending results in the statement of purpose.
It is important that all application forms are submitted to APU, where all other activities such as authentication of results and references are completed before the application is sent to the University of your choice. Incomplete applications may delay the entire process and the success of the applications.
To ensure smooth processing of your application, the application forms should be submitted to APU University Placement Team by following deadline.

If your application is received after these dates, you may face difficulties in making the necessary arrangements such as air travel, accommodation and visas on time.
Documents Required
Documents need to be submitted are as follows:
Completed University Application Form. (Obtained from the website of the University you intend to transfer to or from University Placement’s counsellor)
High School, Diploma and Degree results (All semesters which you have completed-Certified true copies)
Photocopy of Applicant’s passport. (1st information page only)
Photocopy of proof of English Language qualification. (IELTS/TOEFL/1119/English Language Certificate)
Reference Letter from Administration Department. (please send email request to: fliners@apu.edu.my)
Statement of Purpose. (Intention to study in the University of choice, ambition, etc-500 words)
Academic Recommendation Letters (2 letters – may obtained from programme leaders / lecturers)
